Am looking for information about Charles Wallace Hamar/Hamer family. They lived in/around Lomax in the early 1900's. He was often called Walter or Wall. Wife was Iva, often called Ivy. Children included Fred, Lillian, Harold, Jettie,Guy (Dave), Ruben, Dolly, Hilda and other younger children. I have an old postcard written by Wall's sister addressed to "Walter Hamer" at Lomax, NE. Hello, I am seeking information on the Marriage date of Nellie Perkins and George Lester McCrea which was supposed to have occurred in 1904 near or in Berwyn, NE. George L. McCrea was born in 1881 near or in Berwyn, NE and is the son of James and Diana McCrea( McCrea is her married name). Nellie Perkins was born in 1883 near or in Lincoln, NE and is the daughter of Frank Perkins.

SUSANNAH CRISS LONG SHEPPER MOLLETT Her 3rd marriage to Hiram C. Mollett in 1882 or 1887 at Andrew Co., Mo. They came to Broken Bow, Ne. area. He died there but we have no word on when or where Susannah, his 3rd wife died. Will share info. dlwulf@earthlink.net

From looking at the widow's pension record for the 3rd wife of my 3rd great grandfather, it appears that John Martiin Schnekenburger died in Anselmo, NE on 13 Apr 1899. Are there death records available for this time frame? Thanks.

I'm looking for information on Lars and Christina Johnson Who came from Stromsburg Ne. My husband grandfather is Elmer Johnson who died in Loup City in 1973. My husband's father still lives in Loup City. His name is Lynn Johnson. Please don't tell him I'm looking for information on his family. I would like to suprise him on any thing I find. Is there any information regarding Charles (Charley) Griffitts of Custer Co. Nebraska in the 1880's or 1890's. He homesteaded and was purportedly a U.S. Marshall. Wife Henrietta.Four children; Melinda,Ira,Albert and William or Casius William. Henrietta died 1888 two weeks after birth of William. Children went to "foster homes". William listed as adopted in 1900 U.S. census-not sure it was legally done. Charley Griffitts died 1898 of gunshot in Decatur Indiana.

I'm looking for information on my great great grandmother Josie Lydia Hughes. She was born in Broken Bow in 1869. Married William Jones Losey and had three daughters Bessie Elnora, Grace and Jenny. Bessie was my great grandmother. I'm trying to find out who Josie's parents were. She died in 1924 and is buried in Polk County, Iowa, but her daughters were born in Broken Bow. I'm looking for information about Jens Overgaard. He landed Ellis Island 1911 and went to a uncle - farmer Christian Overgaard, Oconto. Jens came from Jebjerg, Denmark. He was born 13 Oct 1890. In 1914 Johannes Overgaard landed Ellis Island and went to his brother Jens Overgaard, Callaway. Johannes came from Jebjerg, Denmark. He was born 21 Jul 1892.
