I wish to correspond with descendants of Jesse J. Sidwell (1844-1902, born Virginia) and his wife, Nancy Davenport (1849-1895). They are buried in the Lone Tree Cemetery, Custer Co. I'm also trying to learn more about his Sidwell grandparents.

I am trying to find information about a Thomas White who lived near Cooleyton, Nebr. and died in a well cave-in in 1886. I can't believe there isn't a story in some newspaper but so far I have not had any luck. He is buried at West Union..

Researching Jesse and Susannah Wilmoth who moved to Custer County in the 1880's. Have names of two sons: George R. and John W. and the children of each. Do not have marriage info, etc. on all of John W.'s eleven children. Any info to be shared is appreciated, including old photos (have the ones from S.D.Butcher). Planning a Gathering of Wilmoths in West Virginia (where these families left to come to Custer County) in August 2005. Please contact if you want to join us.

I would appreciate it if someone would do a look-up for the obituary of Francis (URBAN) PLIVA. I think it might have been in the Sargent Leader 10/31/1918 -Or tell me how to get a copy. I am also seeking information on her husband, Emil Pliva, and their 4 daughters, Rosie, Tillie, Martha and Alice. Emil was born in Czechoslovakia and came to America in 1899. Thank you for your help.
